We are currently looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger entries regularly.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT and other tax returns.
- Liaise with auditors and support audit processes.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify variances and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a consulting or tax-related environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations and tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
