Zapegg Tax Consultant, a reputable financial and tax advisory firm based in Dubai, is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to manage daily cash transactions and support our finance team. This role is perfect for someone with strong numerical skills and a customer-friendly attitude, looking to work in a professional and fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and maintain proper transaction records.
- Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each day.
- Assist clients with payment-related queries in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain daily cash logs and submit transaction reports to the finance department.
- Ensure cash handling procedures are followed and all records are up to date.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to report discrepancies or irregularities.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of client financial data.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or coursework in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- 1–2 years of experience as a cashier, preferably in a financial or office setting.
- Proficient in using POS systems, MS Office, and basic accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Trustworthy, reliable, and capable of handling cash responsibly.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
