Zapegg Tax Consultant is looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, providing technical support to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of all technology systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level and second-level technical support to employees.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
- Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Assist with user account management, password resets, and access control.
- Configure and support Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and related business applications.
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance activities.
- Document IT issues, solutions, and support activities.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related services and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and cybersecurity standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking concepts, and computer hardware.
- Experience with Office 365, Active Directory, and email systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and virtualization platforms.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and endpoint security solutions.
- Experience with network devices, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or Cisco certifications are an advantage.
